Turbowing

Turbowing

The TURBOWING range includes sprinkler booms made of galvanized steel with stainless steel components (depending on the model), designed to ensure strength and long-term reliability.

Compatible with all major hose reels, they are available in versions from 30 to 94 meters, both reel-mounted and trailed. They provide uniform irrigation, ideal for extensive crops, while optimizing water and energy consumption.

Advantages of irrigation with the Turbowing rain boom

  • Uniform water application, ensuring more consistent crop growth compared to sprinkler irrigation.
  • Low evaporation thanks to water application close to the ground.
  • Using a rain boom reduces water consumption by 20% or more compared to sprinkler irrigation.
  • High flow rates allow faster hose retrieval, covering larger areas in less time.
  • Droplet size control reduces soil damage. Larger droplets can be used to minimize drift in strong wind conditions, while finer droplets help protect more delicate crops.
  • Lower impact from finer droplets reduces water stagnation/mud formation as well as soil erosion.
  • Operating at lower pressure (2 bar) significantly reduces the cost of using motor pumps, lowers energy consumption, and places less stress on pipelines.
  • Excessive irrigation at field edges is avoided.
  • Precise overlap between one irrigation position and the next.
